Gonzales, Louisiana

Nestled between our state capitol, Baton Rouge, and historic New Orleans lies Ascension Parish, the rapidly-growing area in which we live. So much of what has made South Louisiana special and globally renowned can be found at our central location. Our history is rich and uniquely American. Our future is promising.

Ascension Parish is home to some of the South's most cherished attractions. Only eight miles from Gonzales is the long, winding River Road, lined with moss-dappled oak trees and Creole antebellum plantation homes. Local restaurants offer varied cuisines from the best Cajun and Creole dishes  bursting with flavor and spices, to numerous other multinational foods. As the “Jambalaya Capital of the World”, Gonzales’ love of good food and entertainment can be summarized by the popular Louisianan slogan, “Laissez les Bon Temps Rouler ~ Let the Good Times Roll!”

Whether you want a fun getaway, a cozy vacation, or a new home in Louisiana’s heartland, we believe ~ from festivals to crawfish boils ~

We’ve got it all!
